Hamidreza Shafiei; Time for a Meeting with Art
Contemporary youth have dominated the Middle Eastern art scene and produced works of art that are on par with those produced worldwide.
ArtDayME : According to Hamidreza Shafiei, manager of the Vesta Color brand, art events quickly crop up in the Middle East around the mid-autumn, winter, and early spring seasons.
He states: "If in the past other cities in this field were overtaken by Tehran, Dubai, and Sharjah, in recent years Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, Jeddah, and Doha have been overflowing with creative events of all types. These lists may include a few more cities.
The chance to interact with art is becoming more and more widespread across the Middle East."
The manager of the Vesta Color brand goes on: "This is an undeniable blessing for those with true civilization and culture, those who have different wounds on their bodies and minds in the modern era. Art might be thought of as a comforting bandage, even though it cannot heal."
Hamid Reza Shafiei continues: "A probe of the plethora of events these days can yield several points: Painting and the vibrant world of canvases and papers are undoubtedly still the most common occurrences in this medium, despite the allure of new arts. Although the world has changed significantly and words now wear new garments, the most common mediums used by artists to express themselves are gouache, acrylic, and oil colors."
The manager of the Vesta Color brand reminds us that contemporary youth have dominated the Middle Eastern art scene and produced works of art that are on par with those produced worldwide.
"Technology and virtual spaces have made the world into a village, and this ability showcases the Middle Eastern boys and girls more than ever," he claims.
The borders separating capital and art are no longer parallel, as Shafiei underlines. A growing number of young people are now supporting themselves artistically.
Thankfully, the region's substantial financial holdings have also shifted to creative investment. However, he notes that from this vantage point, the Middle East is undoubtedly far from meeting the standards of developed nations.
As indicated by the manager of the Vesta Artistic Color brand, the key factor is that contemporary Middle Eastern studies are inadequate and incomplete without taking the artists' perspectives into account.
