Perhaps Salman Moghadasi is right. At first look, it is difficult to discover a relationship between his works and Islamic art. However, the extent of their reliance on Islamic culture and civilization becomes evident when you begin to analyze his works.

The two dots of "Raheem" in the lettering of "Bismillah Ar-Rahman Ar-Raheem" (بسم الله الرحمن الرحیم, commonly known as In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful) are the inspiration for the piece's title, "The End and Beginning," the artist claims.

In the writing of "Bismillah Ar-Rahman Ar-Raheem," the dots of the word "Raheem" are the termination of "Bismillah," although "Bismillah" is regarded the beginning of every journey. As a result, the work connects "Bismillah"'s ending and beginning to everything that follows.

A powerful black line runs through the center of the artwork, beginning in the top left corner, twisting into the painting and exiting from the lower left corner with a strong movement.

This line separates the space of the piece into two parts, while at the same time conveys a sense of flow and vitality. The work's orange-brick background is adorned with yellow brushstrokes that resemble the golden border patterns found in miniature and Quranic illuminations.

 These brushstrokes take the shape of free vertical and horizontal lines.

The little and large black dots surrounding the main line offer a sense of emancipation and movement to the composition while also balancing it.

"The End and Beginning" is regarded as one of Salman's most daring works, as it conveys complex and profound ideas with a minimal of visual elements. The work's boldness is rooted in its simplicity and strength.

The creative painter Salman [Abdollah] Moghadasi was born on August 16, 1977, in Tehran. He attended the first International Calligraphy Conference of the Islamic World in 2002, where he won first place in the New Trends category.

Following successful shows throughout Iran, the Middle East, China, and Russia, Moghaddasi unveiled a unique and thought-provoking collection in 2023 on Dubai's famed art strip, Al Khayat Avenue.

This phase is the start of new journeys and, in a sense, his second significant and protracted step toward achieving stunning and creative visions.

His life and endeavors are not solely focused on delivering a magnificent work of art.
