ArtDayME: Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) and Member of the Dubai Council, visited the 12th edition of the Sikka Art and Design Festival and the 17th edition of the Art Dubai.

During her visit to the Sikka festival on February 23, Sheikha Latifa interacted with numerous artists from the UAE, the GCC, and beyond, taking a keen interest in the diverse array of events and projects, besides the artistic creations on display. She commended the artists for their exceptional work and creativity and underlined their significant contribution to the emirate's cultural scene, highlighting the innovative and outstanding nature of their ideas and creative visions.

Five days later, Sheikha Latifa inaugurated Art Dubai 2024. She said on February 28: "Art Dubai resonates deeply with the creative community's goals and aspirations, having expanded the scope of artistic exploration and leveraging innovation to enhance the city's distinct creative landscape through its prior editions, becoming a regionally and internationally recognized vibrant artistic movement. The increasing eagerness of artists from various countries to participate underscores the exhibition's consistent success, establishing it as a platform for creativity and innovation."
