ArtDayME: Ayyam Gallery hosts ‘Lens & Light: Moments in Focus’; a group show by Ammar al-Beik, Sama Alshaibi, Huda Baydoun, Majid Koorang Beheshti, Ammar Abd Rabbo, Faisal Samra, Rula Halawani, Nassouh Zaghlouleh, and Tammam Azzam. 

‘Lens & Light: Moments in Focus’ considers how photography has been critical in capturing the region’s diverse communities, architecture, and landscapes by documenting both periods of continuity and change.

Photographs testify to the resiliency and bravery that characterize each of us as individuals. In its versatility and technique, photography functions as a symbol of life’s critical moments. Through a camera’s lens, the impermanent becomes permanent and the ethereal becomes tangible.

The show offers the moments captured in photography as more than just documentation; they capture the diversity of human existence and the complexities of global affairs.
