ArtDayME: The Project Space at NYUAD hosts 'Entwined', an exciting new exhibition by renowned artist Susan Doe.
In 'Entwined', artist Susan Doe unveils a series of paintings, sculptures, and installations through which she explores ideas of intersectionality, rooted in her own bicultural upbringing.
Reflecting on her Chinese American background, the artist blends together disparate elements to create something unexpected. Through this process, she plays with illusions of materiality, making metal threads appear soft and weaving paper to mimic large solid sculptures.
The exhibition will remain open until September 17.
