ArtDayME: 'Made Present' is a exhibition that will open Alserkal Art Week 2024 at the Alserkal Arts Foundation in Dubai. Running from November 17 to 24, the exhibition, curated by Faris Shomali and Zaina Zarour, challenges traditional narratives of Palestinian art.

Through a collection of artworks, archival materials, and field notes, 'Made Present' exhibition emphasizes the active role of artists in preserving their cultural heritage despite immense hardship.

Key Palestinian artists featured in the exhibition include Tamam Al-Akhal, Nasr Abdel Aziz Eleyan, and Sliman Mansour.

The exhibition was made possible through the support of artists and their families, who shared personal archives, as well as contributions from various private and institutional collections.

Made Present invites viewers to engage with Palestinian history, showcasing the power of art in preserving memory and challenging attempts to erase cultural identity.

The exhibition opens on November 17, 2024, at 7:30 pm, at Alserkal Arts Foundation Project Space in Alserkal Avenue Dubai.
