ArtDayME: Ayyam Gallery in Dubai hosts ‘Navigating Through Nothing,’ exhibition by Thaier Helal at Ayyam Gallery

‘Navigating Through Nothing,’ represents a key moment in the Helal’s development. Initially working within a rigid, grid-like structure, he later shifted to heavier materials like papier-mâché, exploring their physical and metaphorical weight. 

Over time, his approach became more fluid, allowing for greater authenticity and emotional expression. His brushstrokes now echo abstract expressionists, with loose, dynamic strokes that invite instinctual viewer engagement. This more liberated style emphasizes the emotional narrative in the act of painting, encouraging personal interpretation through the layered textures and movements in the artwork.
