Sarah Sky’s Art Exhibition at Etihad Modern Art Gallery Abu Dhabi

The Etihad Modern Art Gallery hosts Sarah Sky’s artworks. *Formula Exhibition* was a cultural milestone, graced by the esteemed presence of H.H. Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, along with other distinguished dignitaries and art enthusiasts.

ArtDayMe: Azadeh Jafarian: The evening was a celebration of art, unity, and innovation, as Sarah Sky personally escorted guests through her stunning collection of 53 artworks. Her passionate commentary offered an intimate glimpse into her creative process and the inspirations behind her pieces. This special collection, created to commemorate the 53 years of the UAE’s union, reflects themes of harmony, movement, and cultural vibrancy, resonating deeply with the spirit of the nation.

Born in France, raised in Morocco, and currently residing in Guatemala, Sarah Sky’s multicultural upbringing serves as a powerful influence in her art. Her works explore the intersection of cultures and emotions, combining vibrant colors, intricate textures, and dynamic forms to create pieces that captivate and provoke thought.

The *Formula Exhibition* is especially significant as it aligns with Abu Dhabi’s cultural festivities during the Formula 1 finale. The collection showcases Sarah Sky’s artistic range, from detailed miniatures to expansive large-scale canvases. Each piece invites viewers into an immersive world of abstract expression, encouraging introspection and connection.

“Sarah Sky’s work transcends boundaries and speaks to audiences from diverse backgrounds,” remarked Denisse Anzueto, founder of D’Agency Art, which represents the artist. “Her art not only celebrates the UAE’s rich history but also its progressive vision for the future.”

The exhibition is open to the public from December 6 to 20, 2024, offering residents and visitors alike a chance to experience the transformative power of abstract art.
