Hamidreza Shafiei; Farnaz Rezaei's Poetic Abstract
“In the background, this Rezaei painting offers the chance to reinterpret creative traditions while seemingly exploring concepts like nature, time, and the interaction between humans and the environment,” the Vesta Color manager concluded
ArtDayMe : Using Vesta colors and materials, young painter Farnaz Rezaei just produced a piece.
Vesta Color and Mojdeh Art Gallery collaborated to create this piece, which was then donated to Vesta.
In this work of art, Rezaei employed a variety of Vesta color and product combinations. The piece, which is 80 × 120 cm in size is part of the “Written Abstract” series.
Vesta Color's manager, Hamidreza Shafiei, was thrilled that Vesta Color was involved in the creation of this stunning and striking piece.
He also complimented the talented artist Rezaei for her involvement in the project.
He stated, “I believe Ms. Farnaz Rezaei's work combines abstract calligraphy and poetry, giving the viewer a good mood and peace in a modernist setting.”
Hamidreza Shafiei added: “The artist's use of dense colors, rich textures, and layers demonstrates a variety of techniques, including brush and spatula. These textures give the artwork a sense of depth and movement.”
According to the art director, the painter has created a composition that gives the impression that the horizon is now reachable and that the two primary elements—air and earth—have united. The artwork is divided into two sections: the upper part, which is blue and takes up two-thirds of the work and conjures the wide sky, and the lower half, which is green and depicts a natural landscape.
Shafiei observed: “A sense of tranquility and a connection to nature are evoked by the piece's vivid greens and gentle blues. On the canvas, the colors are layered and naturally occurring. Visual dynamism has been produced by the contrast between the sky's vivid green and blue texture. The spectator is invited to explore the area both mentally and sensoryly by this contrast.”
He stated, “Natural landscapes appear to have served as inspiration for the piece. However, it is elevated from a strictly realistic portrayal to a higher philosophical level by the artist's abstract technique.”
Hamidreza Shafiei underlined: “The significance of conceptual layers is indicated by the series' title, Written Abstract. The lines and indications seen in the work as texture or grooves can correspond to a type of civilizational script or writing, similar to old inscriptions, making the paintings' space more conceptual and interpretable.”
“In the background, this Rezaei painting offers the chance to reinterpret creative traditions while seemingly exploring concepts like nature, time, and the interaction between humans and the environment,” the Vesta Color manager concluded.
