About the Artist

Wafa Salah is a Sudanese visual artist, painter, printmaker, and graphic designer, born and currently residing in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.

She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Painting from the College of Fine and Applied Art at Sudan University of Science and Technology in 2014. Her work has been showcased in numerous international exhibitions, including TRANSFORMATIONS: NEW PERSPECTIVES in Nairobi, Kenya (2025), SHARJAH FESTIVAL FOR AFRICAN LITERATURE in Sharjah, UAE (2025), NORDIC ENCOUNTERS in Stockholm, Sweden (2024), World Art Dubai in Dubai, UAE (2023), and “The Identity of the Soul” at the French Institute in Khartoum, Sudan (2022).

Wafa’s paintings are distinguished by vibrant colours that reflect her cultural heritage and emotional responses to life’s experiences. Through her art, she explores universal themes, intertwining the personal with the profound.
