Hamidreza Shafiei and the minimal artwork of Kiarash Yaghoubi
The work of Kiarash Yaghoubi, which you can see, shows a combination of geometry and abstract calligraphy in a modern structure. An example of fusion art where tradition and modernity are linked and at the same time invites the audience to a visual experience and free interpretation.
ArtDayMe : Kiarash Yaghoubi, a well-known calligraphy and calligraphy artist, has recently created a work with Vesta colors and products.
This work was created and dedicated to Vesta in a joint project of Mojdeh art gallery and Vesta color.
In this work, Mr. Yaghoubi has used Vesta acrylic, Jesso Vesta, Medium Rittard, and the matte and glossy killer of the Vesta water base.
This work "Boundless 3" from the third line series was created by combining materials on canvas in the size of 100 × 100 cm.
Hamidreza Shafiei, the manager of Vesta Color Paint, expressed his satisfaction that this beautiful and eye-catching work was created with Vesta color paint, and thanked the learned artist Kiarash Yaghoubi for participating in this project, saying: "From my point of view, the work of Kiarash Yaghoubi that you see shows a combination of geometry and abstract calligraphy in a modern structure."
He added: "In my view, in this work, Mr. Kiarash Yaghoubi has created a minimal yet complex composition by using simple geometric forms and curved lines. The background of the work is designed using a yellow rectangle in the center and shades of gray to black in different layers. The use of yellow and gray colors creates a sense of balance and stability in the space of the work. Light yellow as the dominant color adds a sense of brightness and energy to the work, while the gray layers add depth to the work."
Shafiei says: "In this work, there are several curved lines in red and blue colors that intersect and interact with each other. These circular lines and curves add a state of movement and dynamism to the image, and in contrast to the rectangular and static space of the work, they create a beautiful contrast. These lines seem to be a symbol of fluidity and change."
The artistic director says : "The calligraphy in this work is designed in the form of repeated and continuous layers, which are displayed in the middle part of the work with darker colors.
These writings, while they are traditional in nature, have become abstract and unreadable, and this causes the viewer to pay more attention to its form and form than to its apparent meaning. This abstract calligraphy may somehow refer to the heritage and culture of Iranian calligraphy, and at the same time, it also brings a sense of modernity. In this work, Kiarash Yaghoubi has benefited beautifully from the contrast and interaction between hard geometric shapes and curved lines."
Hamidreza Shafiei emphasized: "Also, the warm and cold colors (yellow and blue) together create a balanced combination. This balance between form and color creates a sense of harmony and coherence in the work. From a semiotic point of view, yellow, which is the color of the sun, indicates optimism and hope for the future, and blue promises peace."
The manager of Vesta Color noted, "This work may refer to abstract themes such as the combination of tradition and modernity, stability and change, or harmony amid apparent tensions. The geometric shape and Iranian calligraphy in a modern and minimal format convey a message of the fusion of classical culture and art with contemporary elements."
In the end, Hamidreza Shafiei says : "This work of Mr. Kiarash Yaghoubi is an example of fusion art in which tradition and modernity are linked and at the same time invites the audience to a visual experience and free interpretation."
It is worth mentioning that the joint project of Vesta color and Mojdeh art gallery is being carried out with the aim of supporting artistic talents and forming a new art ecosystem that will help the development of art with the participation of artists with diverse artistic tendencies.
