Could you briefly describe your artistic background?
Hamideh Hajar : I held my first solo show in the early 2000s. Between 2004 and 2006, I had three solo presentations at the Mojdeh Gallery. I've had other solo shows at galleries such as Atbin, Style, Khark, Ashian Naghsh and Mehr, Haft Samar, and Negar, the most recent being in 2018. My work of art has been featured in scores of group exhibitions both nationally and in Europe. I also took part in the 2005 ART EXPO China. Since my first exhibition in 2002 until now, I have been focusing on the series "The Mass", which includes about 12 readings with different styles and techniques.
What series are you working on at the moment?
Hamideh Hajar : I am now working on my new collection, which is based on my own vision of nature and is stylistically similar to impressionism. I used a variety of techniques in this collection, including oil, acrylic, and a mix of materials.
What is your highest priority for the future?
Hamideh Hajar :My top priorities are, of course, making new art, exhibiting it, and selling it.
What is the artwork that you created for Vesta Color like?
Hamideh Hajar :It is titled "Forest Elegy" and was made in the impressionist manner using Vesta acrylic paints. It measures 100.100 meters. The style of work is similar to the collection of works that I intend to display at the exhibition.
How long have you been aware of Vesta Color's offerings?
Hamideh Hajar :Vesta hues are among the best Iranian colors, in my opinion, and I have known them since the company's inception.
Which Vesta Color product would you suggest to other artists if you could only suggest one?
Hamideh Hajar :The Vesta oil paint set is what I suggest.
What are your thoughts on the joint initiative between Vesta Color and Mojdeh Art Gallery?
Hamideh Hajar :It's a wise choice, in my view.
