Ahmed Mater: Chronicles, is the most comprehensive exhibition dedicated to the artist to date, bringing together different stages of the artist's career and revealing his unique path as a chronicler of his homeland's materiality and spirituality.
Titled Ahmed Mater: Chronicles, the exhibition is taking place at Christie’s headquarters in London.
The show includes work dating back to the 1950s up to the present day, ranging from paintings to films and installations, and exploring themes including identity, poetry and homeland.
