Artdayme: "In the Heart of Another Country" opened at Al Mureijah Art Spaces!

Discover the politics of place and placelessness through myriad art forms and genres, including painting, portraiture, architecture and abstraction, from the twentieth century to the present.

The exhibition features over 150 works by more than 60 artists across three generations, including Halil Altindere, Minam Apang, Rasheed Araeen, Sonia Balassanian, Huguette Caland, Saloua Raouda Choucair, Marcos Grigorian, Adam Henein and Amal Kenawy, among others.

Organised by Sharjah Art Foundation and Deichtorhallen Hamburg, the exhibition is curated by Dr Omar Kholeif, Director of International Collections and Senior Curator, Sharjah Art Foundation.
