Drawn from the collection of the Barjeel Art Foundation, artworks in the exhibition reflect the manifold ways in which artists in the Arab world have responded to socio-political events and the human condition across the twentieth and twenty-first centuries.
The exhibition, which will continue until the 7th of January 2024, is part of the 'Lasting Impressions' series which focuses on highlighting key artists from the region who have contributed to shaping modern Arab art.
The exhibition "Lasting Impressions: Samia Halaby" will be held from September 21 to January 24, 2024 at the Sharjah Art Museum.
