ArtDayME: Efie Gallery has presented Victor Ekpuk latest exhibition titled "INTERWOVEN TEXTURES." The exhibition started on September 28 and continues until November 21, 2023. "INTERwoven TEXTures" curated by Professor Awam Amkpa. The exhibition marks Ekpuk’s first solo show in the Middle East. The show seeks to explore the diverse cultural intersections across the region and pay tribute to the power of dialogue and the collective human experience. Victor Ekpuk is an internationally-renowned Nigerian-American artist based in Washington, D.C. His paintings, drawings, and sculptures reimagine the ancient Nigerian communication system, Nsibidi, to explore a diverse spectrum of meaning addressing historical narratives, the contemporary African diaspora, and humanity’s connection to the sacred.
